Benefits
Zero waste and circular economy: The GTS will ensure that all garbage will be sorted so it can be reused or put back into nature. This will lead to zero waste and a circular economy, which is naturally better for the environment.
Less pressure on natural resources: GTS will lead to the reuse of a lot of resources, putting less pressure on producing new ones
Concerns
Invasive structure: Building the GTS might be invasive for the environment and cause it harm. This however won’t weigh up against the positive impact GTS will have on the environment by ensuring zero waste.
Energy cost: Having all garbage moved though the GTN by air pressure might cost a lot of energy. That is why the GTS should run solely on green energy.
