Monday 19th of September, the focus group for garbage disposal and recycling companies took place. They provided us with really interesting information. Benefits
More profit: less transportation and employees needed for collecting garbage.
Improved image: because of the involvement in circular economy, Corporate Social Responsibility may be encouraged.
Concerns
Retraining: people involved in collecting garbage are not needed anymore. They need to retrain and get other jobs more focused on recycling.
Restructuring and reorganising: because of the shift in focus from collecting towards only recyling garbage, these companies need to restructure and reorganise their companies
Technology: the proposed technology should work and should be cost-efficient.
