I read at the website that so-called 'RRI process requirements' were used in this research. I'm a huge fan of transparency in research and development, but I have no idea what this means. Can someone please explain it to me?

It stands for Responsible Research and Innovation. I think it means that every stakeholder, such as the users, researchers, governments etc are involved in the development of the innovation. So it's not just some people in a lab somewhere doing this, but everybody who will have to deal with the innovation gets a say. That's why all the different stakeholders are shown on the website
